Playstation 2 swap trick - First Method   (by B.A.D/PARADOX) (how to play a backup copy by booting with the original cd)  Here you'll find all the info and (IMPORTANT) all pictures to lear about how to play with a backup copy. Just follow step-by-step. 1) Place your Playstation 2 as shown in the picture and remove the marked screws. Then remove the top cover but be careful, there are two connected cables, remove the cover slowly. 2) Look the picture. Remove the black disk (there is just a bit of glue).Under the black disk you'll see a white disk, later you have to extract the white disk from the dock. Now just extract the Eject & Reset button from the dock, there are no screws, so just pull out. Now remove the 4 screws (1-4). Now remove the dvd-reader cover and extract the white disk. The  is needed to white disk lock the dvd-rom. 3) Now you can see the dvd-rom reader Ok, that's all. Now we can try to play a backup copy. Make a copy of an original PS2 game. It's very important to have both disks, the original and the backup copy. Connect to the PS2 all cables (power, joypad, video). Make sure the PS2 is turned off before to connect cables. Now turn on the main power switch (on the rear). Place the original cd into the cd-reader and then place the white disk on top to lock the cd. Now press the Reset/Power button. The cd-reader will start at 1x speed, then after a second it will go to 4x speed...OK!!! Now it's the time to be fast! Be careful, the cd is rotating!!!! Remove the white disk and remove the original disk, insert the backup copy and place the white disk. You must do these operations before the Playstaton 2 logo appears on the screen. If you made everything in the right way you have your backup copy running. Otherwise TURN-OFF the PS2 by pressing for 3-4 seconds the Reset Button and try again. Don't try to repeat the operation just using the simple reset. You must Turn-Off the PS2 by pressing for 3-4 seconds the Reset button. I know, you need pratice to make your backup copy works. I tried 9 times before to have success.
